Dan began his real estate career as a young entrepreneur in 1992, building up a substantial portfolio of multi-family housing in Geneva.
In 1997, Dan worked with Goldman Sachs’ Whitehall Fund, prior to founding the predecessor to REInvest Capital, signing as the exclusive real estate partner in Switzerland for Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate Special Situation Fund.
In 1999, he joined Soros Real Estate Partners as a European acquisitions officer.
Over the course of the different investment cycles, Dan has successively identified various opportunities in residential, industrial and commercial assets. To date, he has been partner, as principal investor, in several dozen partnerships in deals values at over CHF 750 million.
Dan holds a BS and MS in Thermo-Nuclear Physics from EPFL, Lausanne, and received his MBA from INSEAD, in Fontainebleau, France in December 1997.
Tamer and Dan began working together at REInvest twenty years ago in 1997, where he continues to act as one of the Managing Partners. In addition to this role he is a Director NIS ARB EDO Ltd, which holds €500mn of Berlin real estate, A Director OF DMI Finance Ltd www.dmifinance.in, an Indian real estate lending business with approximately USD 250MM of loans, a Director of www.circuitoftheamericas.com, home of the United States Formula 1 Grand Prix, and several other companies.
From 2001-2007 he was Managing Director of the Lehman Brothers / PSP Swiss Properties joint venture, WTF Properties in Zurich, which acquired, renovated and resold CHF 1.5bn (140 assets, generating a 7x cash return).
Tamer is a 3rd generation real estate developer and began his career managing a portfolio of distressed Manhattan real estate for The Brodsky Organisation, his family’s real estate residential development and management business.
He joined Dan Meyer in 1997 to set up the predecessor to REInvest Capital, as exclusive partners for Morgan Stanley in Swiss real estate
José María has been operating on the Spanish real estate and hotel market for the last 12 years. In 2003 he founded Praktik Hotels, an urban chain with currently five hotels under management.
José María co-owns the AC Victoria Suites (60 rooms, 4 stars) and the Cotton House by Autograph (84 rooms, 5 stars), both Marriott franchised hotels. The latter has been rated #1 Autograph Hotel worldwide and has received numerous prizes. Currently, José María is developing two 5 star hotels in Barcelona with a total of 200 rooms. Prior to real estate, José María worked in the Private Banking division of JP Morgan in London.
José María holds a BA in Economics from Webster University (Vienna) and is fluent in Spanish, English, German and Catalan.
Cédrik joined REInvest as an accountant in 2007. Cédrik became the group’s CFO in 2010. Since 2013 he has risen to assume to the role of Managing Director of REInvest, and is responsible for both accounting, acquisition and the asset management departments. Cédrik serves as director for numerous REInvest group companies.
Cédrik has a degree in finance & accounting (2006) from IFP in Gland (VD) and is fluent in English and French.
